Early, compact plants have few outer leaves and are adaptable to close planting. Large, gray-green, 6" heads average 3-1/2 to 4 lbs. each, are short-cored, with an extremely solid texture and excellent flavor. Good fresh market variety. Holds well in the field without splitting and is a good shipper. Tolerant to Tipburn and Black Rot.
