Fruits don't become bitter even when left on the vine. Dark green, 3 to 5" gherkins with white spines, are perfect for pickling and fresh eating. A parthenocarpic variety, meaning plants produce fruit without insect pollination. Strongly vigorous, vining plants are gynoecious, as well. Excellent disease tolerance to Scab and Cucumber Mosaic Virus with intermediate resistance to Powdery and Downy Mildews. High yielder.
