Blooms reliably without vernalization. This beauty features long, elegant spikes of light/dark lavender-blue flowers that have a lovely fragrance, both fresh and dried. Tall, upright plants are strongly-branched and while pinching is not required, frequent cutting enhances re-growth. Highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. Performs very well in containers, borders and beds and is perfect for landscaping. Growth regulators are not necessary, but plants do respond well to B-Nine. Recommended for pack and 4-6" pot production. Plug crop time is 6-7 weeks. Can also be scheduled for traditional overwintering production. A first year flowering perennial. Spreads 12 to 16", 12-16". Zones 5-8.
