Stands out early in the selling season and later when typical reds have declined. Globe-shaped bulbs, up to 3-1/2" in diameter, have delicately colored flesh, strong skins and excellent storage up to 7 months. Pungent when raw, but sweetens when cooked. Bulbs dry down uniformly with a very tight neck and great skin set, so yield and recovery are very high. Great for roadside stands. Easy-to-grow and well-adapted. Intermediate resistance to Pink Root.
