50-55 days green; 70-75 days mature.
Large, 8 to 9 oz., blocky, 3 to 4-lobed bells have firm, thick walls. Fruits are 3-1/2" long by 3-1/4" wide with a sweet, rich flavor and an excellent crunch. Peppers have a strong, bright yellow color that lasts longer so they are slower to turn gold/orange distinguishing this variety from others. Can be enjoyed at either stage of maturity. Fruits have a good shelf life and are perfect for stuffing. Great for field production. Upright plants grow 20 to 30" tall and are highly resistant to Bacterial Leaf Spot Races 1-3, 7 and 8.
