Deep green, 3-1/2" by 1-1/2" fruits have thick walls and mature to a brilliant red when they are at their hottest with a Scoville rating of 3,500 to 4,500 units. Excellent for pickling and are ideal for using fresh in Mexican dishes. Early and better adapted to cool conditions than regular jalepenos. Compact, sturdy plants grow 26 to 36" tall and are heavy yielders. 1/2 oz. = approx. 2,000 seeds
