An early maturing cayenne-type with superior quality for both the fresh and dried markets. Thin-walled, slim, uniform fruits are slightly wrinkled and grow to approx. 4-1/2 to 5" long by 1/2" wide. Medium-dark green peppers weigh just under 1/2 oz. each and mature to a beautiful, bright red. Fruits have a pungent, well-rounded flavor with a Scoville rating of 6,000 units. Great for farmers markets and bedding plant growers. Plants are vigorous and have generous foliage cover to help protect fruits against sunscald. Produces abundantly over a long period.
