Long thin, 6 to 9" fruits are much larger than comparable varieties and have an unusual 'curl' at the tip - hence the name Longhorn. Peppers have an excellent spicy flavor, with a Scoville rating of just 15,000 to 20,000 units. Vigorous, tall plants can be grown in containers, but will require support due to the large volume of fruit.
