Yellow - 100 days. Also known as Jamaican Yellow. Fruits ripen from green to bright yellow. Creates an attractive display when grow along with the Red. Named for their resemblance to Scottish caps and sometimes called the Scotty Bon or Bonny Pepper. Don't be fooled by their unique, citrusy/fruity flavor - it's accompanied by some pretty extreme heat with a Scoville rating of 100,000 to 350,000 units which is similar to a habanero pepper. Wrinkled, fiery fruits have thin skins, grow to approx. 1 1/2" each and make the perfect addition to Caribbean jerk dishes, hot sauces and salsas. Great for containers. Vigorous, compact plants grow 24 to 36" tall and are loaded with fruits.
